Maria Legat is exhibiting in the group exhibition In the Extended Space, curated by Sebastian Haselsteiner and Günther Oberhollenzer at Künstlerhaus, Vienna from February 28 to June 7, 2026.
The exhibition IN EXTENDED SPACE focuses on outstanding artistic positions in painting and drawing – artworks from the STRABAG ART Collection that explore the boundaries of their medium in very different ways. They demonstrate once again that these traditional means of expression in contemporary art have lost none of their radiance and power in our multimedia age. The diverse works, some of them expansive and created specifically for the exhibition, impress with both their formal and conceptual mastery. The ten Austrian and European artists featured in the exhibition are recipients of the STRABAG ART Award.
