Since 2015,  La Patinoire Royale Bach  in Brussels has presented a selection of historical and contemporary Belgian and international artists in an exceptional location: the first roller skating rink in the world, dating back to 1877. Now, in view of its tenth anniversary, it is hosting (until 21 December 2024) in the spectacular 1000 m2 nave, with 11 m high ceilings, the first major solo exhibition in Belgium – in over twenty years – of the American artist  Gordon Matta-Clark  (New York, 1943-1978): a tribute to a nonconformist artist, who literally opened spaces and breaches in architecture, infecting subsequent generations of artists and remaining more relevant than ever.
