THOMAS DEVAUX | CENTRE POMPIDOU LIBRAIRIE: BOOK LAUNCH

Thomas Devaux launched his monograph Cet Obscur Objet du Désir with an event at the Centre Pompidou bookshop. 

With a foreword by Michel Poivert, Cet obscur objet du désir brings together the series that have marked Thomas Devaux's career: from his first series of melancholy black-and-white portraits, to the abstraction of Rayons, to the filigree images under the famous dichroic glass (Dichroic Shoppers & Totems), Thomas Devaux sets out to reveal the effects of colour on our own psyche and on our consumer impulses, using postures and shimmering materials.
