In Rome, Joana Vasconcelos has a major solo exhibition at the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation.
After activating the city of Rome with a public art project that brought three monumental works by Joana Vasconcelos to three iconic locations, the exhibition VENUS – Valentino Garavani through the eyes of Joana Vasconcelos opens at PM23, the space inaugurated last May by the Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti Foundation. Across more than 1,000 square metres, the exhibition presents a contemporary and poetic journey into the creative universe of Valentino Garavani, reinterpreted through the powerful and distinctive vision of the Portuguese artist.
