In a solo exhibition at the Musée des Moulages in the Hôpital Saint-Louis in Paris, Renaud Auguste-Dormeuil continued his explorations of history.
Demain est annulé, Jusqu’ici tout va bien, D’après nature : literally floating in space, at the heart of the architecture and the cast collection, the works oscillate between enchantment and disillusionment.
Along the way, our certainties unravel: are we passing through time, or is time passing through us?
Placed under the sign of "irreversibility", a term dear to the artist for almost twenty years, the exhibition is an invitation, for the space of a moment, to resist the lament of time passing.
