In Le Nouvel Obs, Julien Bordier highlights Gordon Matta-Clark as one of his top ten picks at Paris Photo. 

 

The Brussels-based gallery's stand devotes part of its space to an emblematic figure of 1970s New York, known for his in situ works, dismantling and cutting up urban buildings. The photographic work of this "anarchitect" includes collages inspired by his actions "Splitting" (1974) and "Conical Intersect" (carried out in Paris in 1975). The montage entitled "Splitting" (1974) is the most expensive work at this edition of Paris Photo (1.4 million euros).
