In Le Figaro, Valérie Duponchelle and Béatrice de Rochebouët write on the gallery's presence at Paris Photo, including the works of Lebohang Kganye and Gordon Matta-Clark.
Among the discoveries, many were captivated by the 'boxes' of South African artist Lebohang Kganye, winner of the Grand Prix Images Vevey 2021-2022 for her project Staging Memories. The artist is already scheduled for an exhibition at MoMA in New York next fall. Her photo boxes are displayed twice at Paris Photo: in the 'Voices' section, the most successful, curated by Nigerian commissioner Azu Nwagbogu, and at the stand of her Brussels gallerist, Valérie Bach, who also caused a sensation with her large, previously unseen photograph by the American Gordon Matta-Clark (€1.4 million!).
