Alice Anderson is presenting a major painting installation commissioned by the Freud Museum in London as part of the group exhibition Women & Freud: Patients, Pioneers, Artists open October 30, 2024-May 2025.
Anderson presents two new large outdoor paintings, Data Dance (13 m) and its corresponding Chance Composition (13 m) commissioned by the Freud Museum.
“I listen to the architectural elements that speak to me. I measure them and recreate them in wood to generate their own ‘data’. A poetic response to the ‘big data’.”
The Exhibition features work by leading artists: Louise Bourgeois, Paula Rego, Marie-Louise von Motesiczky, Sarah Lucas, Rachel Kneebone, Tracey Emin, Cornelia Parker, Alice Anderson, Sharon Kivland, Christina Kimeze, Helen Chadwick and more.
