At the Anticipation Festival at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris September 20-22, 2024, Lucy + Jorge Orta present a selection of works from the meta-project Antarctica they began in 2007 during an expedition to Antarctica.
In order to take concrete action in the face of climate challenges, the Anticipation festival offers a space for collectively writing new narratives, and projecting ourselves into a desirable future. Artists and speakers come together to make the general public and businesses aware of planetary limits, and invite them to enjoy artistic and cultural experiences and moments of sharing to drive change and action.
